ASIAN  POP  WEEKLY

My pride and joy, Asian Pop Weekly is a website I opened five years ago on a whim because I was tired of not being able to find information on C-pop. This website is not only a platform that encourages an international audience to get to know Chinese music better, but represents my learning journey and enduring passion for music through the years. The bulk of my endeavours to promote Chinese music are situated on this site, and has provided me with the experience and knowledge needed to build my connections and opportunities within the Chinese music scene.

Type of media: Online media, Chinese music website

Created in: 2010

Site description: Album reviews, news updates, interviews & features, lyric translations, lyric translation videos, musical covers, podcasts, live performance reviews, opinion pieces

Accolades/recognition: Recognised by notable Asian artists such as Wang Dawen, Shi Shi Sun, Yen-J, Ann Bai, Charlie Lim and more. Official columnist for BAMID initiative music website Taiwan Beats, and occasional collaborator with prominent Taiwanese music critic Jamie Lee (from Jamie Deer music), Meimeiwawa Multimedia and Livepod.
